On Monday, March 31st Chris Cooley was invited to compete in an exclusive "closest to the pin" competition with NFL greats Sterling Sharp , Marshall Faulk, Drew Brees and Ladainian Tomlinson at The Professional Open in San Diego. The stakes - batting practice at PETCO Park with the San Diego Padres. Despite Chris not having his own clubs he hit a shot within five feet of the pin and won!

REDSKINS BEGIN OFF-SEASON WORKOUT PROGRAM

CHRIS COOLEY JOINS CELEBRITY ATHLETES ON CAPITOL HILL TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

On March 12, 2008 Chris Cooley joined other celebrity athletes and coaches as well as leading retailers, sporting goods and fitness equipment manufacturers and Physical Education teachers for SMGA's National Health - through - Fitness Day on Capitol Hill to ask Congress to support federal legislation that would help promote improving physical education programs as well as increasing overall physical activity in America.

REDSKINS COOLEY, SAMUELS AND ALBRIGHT WEAR #21 AT PRO BOWL

In honor of their late teammate, Sean Taylor, Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley, tackle Chris Samuels and long snapper Ethan Albright all wore Taylor's "21" jersey at this year's Pro Bowl. Taylor, who was also elected to the Pro Bowl, was sadly murdered last November and will be greatly missed.
